# Add BNB Smart Chain to Your Wallet

## 🌐 Add the BNB Smart Chain Network

EXTOCIUM operates on the **BNB Smart Chain network**.

To play the game properly,\
you must **set up the BNB Smart Chain network** in your wallet.

Follow the steps below to complete the setup.

### ✅ STEP 1. Install a Wallet App

First, install the wallet app you will use.

* **MetaMask**
* **Trust Wallet**

Please install the app\
only from the **official app store or official website**.

**⚠️ Important Notice**

When you install a wallet, a **Recovery Phrase (Seed Phrase)** is created.\
This phrase is the **only way to recover your wallet**.

* Write it down on paper.
* Store it in a safe place.

If you lose it, your wallet and assets **cannot be recovered**.

#### 🦊Add BNB Smart Chain to MetaMask

### ✅ STEP 2. Open the Network Settings

1️⃣ Launch the MetaMask app.\
2️⃣ Tap the **network selection area** at the top of the screen.

This area is where you manage the network currently in use.

By default, MetaMask is set to\
**Ethereum Mainnet**.

👉 When using **EXTOCIUM**,\
the network must always be set to **BNB Smart Chain**.

### ✅ STEP 3. Select BNB Smart Chain (Mobile)

1️⃣ Go to the **\[Tokens]** screen at the bottom of the MetaMask app.

2️⃣ Tap the **network name area** at the top of the screen.\
(Example: Ethereum, BNB Chain)

3️⃣ Select **BNB Chain** from the list.\
Once selected, the wallet network will automatically switch to **BNB Chain**.

If all of the following are true, **BNB Chain** has been set up correctly.

* **BNB Chain / BNB Smart Chain** is shown at the top of the wallet or token screen.
* The screen displays your **BNB balance**.

2️⃣ Select **Custom Network** in the top-right corner.\

### 🛡️ Check BNB Smart Chain in Trust Wallet

Trust Wallet includes **BNB Smart Chain by default**.\
However, it may not be visible, so you need to check whether it is enabled.

### ✅ STEP 1. Open Manage Crypto

1️⃣ Launch the Trust Wallet app.\
2️⃣ On the main screen, tap **`Manage Crypto`**.\
3️⃣ A list of available networks and tokens will appear.

👉 Make sure to select **BNB Smart Chain** only.
