🔒 Skill Level Cap System
The Skill Level Cap System adjusts skill effectiveness based on the level of the equipped Hero.
In EXTOCIUM, Heroes can grow through various methods such as trading and reloading.
As a result, differences may occur between Hero Level, weapon Grade, and skill Level.
This system is designed to:
Protect the value of players who invest in their skills
Prevent low-level Heroes from using high-level weapons and skills with excessive efficiency obtained through trading
◾ Skill Level Cap – Basic Rules
The Skill Level Cap is applied based on the difference between Hero Level and Skill Level.
◾ Using Skills Higher Than Hero Level
When using a skill that is higher than the Hero’s level, the following rules apply.
1️⃣ Skill Level Higher Than Hero Level
MP consumption is calculated based on the Hero’s level.
2️⃣ Skill Level Is 5 or More Levels Higher Than Hero Level
The Skill Level is adjusted (scaled down).

MP Cost: Based on Hero Level 10
Skill Effect: Based on adjusted Skill Level 12
◾ Using Skills Lower Than Hero Level
When using a skill that is lower than the Hero’s level, a skill effectiveness penalty is applied.
1️⃣ Skill Level Lower Than Hero Level
Skill effectiveness is reduced.
2️⃣ Level Difference Is 5 or More
Skill effectiveness is reduced by a percentage equal to the level difference.
🧪 Example
Skill Level: 50
→ Level difference: 5
→ Skill effectiveness reduced by 5%
Skill Level: 0
→ Level difference: 55
→ Skill effectiveness reduced by 55%
❗ In all cases, MP Cost (COST_MP) remains unchanged.
The Skill Level Cap System ensures fair and balanced skill efficiency
based on the Hero’s level.
